Saying the alphabet backwards is so easy...

...That a caveman could do it! Really. If you would like to learn how I learned to say it backwards, read ahead.

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
zyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcba

First, look at this for any words that stick out. For instance:

zyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcba

  1. Vut is German for 'what'
  2. pon is like the word 'pun'
  3. mlk could be 'milk' or Martin Luthor King
  4. jihg could be 'jig'
  5. fed is kind of obvious

So now you have: 'What pun milk jig fed' or 'What pun Martin Luthor King jig fed'.

Now, all you have to do is start at the end of the alphabet and go backwards. When you run into a sequence of letters you don't know, you think of the next word. For example:

zyxw... "Oh yeah, vut".

srq... "Oh yeah, pon".

Anyway, if you keep on saying it backwards, you should get it stuck in your head, and that's a good thing. Good luck!
